Our Traditonal khmer Wooden House
At the heart of Baitang SIEM REAP stands our traditional Khmer wooden house, a symbol of Cambodia’s rich architectural heritage.
Today, many traditional timber houses are disappearing as families replace them with modern concrete homes. To help preserve this important part of Cambodia’s history, we carefully source quality reclaimed timber from these old houses and rebuild it into an authentic Khmer wooden home.
By giving these materials a new life, we are preserving generations of craftsmanship while creating a meaningful place where visitors can experience traditional Khmer architecture, learn about Cambodia’s history, and appreciate the skills of local artisans.
